I dont know a whole lot about flutes but I am interested in learning. And if anuyone has an inexpencive($150 max) used or new flute please contact me. Or if you know of any good flute teachers in my area(Santa Cruz, CA) please e-mail me.

Altus A907 handmade flute. A=442 with the William Bennet scale. Open hole, Bfoot, Inline G, Pointed Arms. .958 Brittania Silver Headjoint, nickle silver body and foot. I had a D# roller custom installed (which you can't get on this model FROM Altus). French case and wood cleaning rod. Also comes with a dark blue Jean Cavallaro case cover with an outside zippered pocket and shoulder strap. I bought this flute new in January,2002. Excellent condition, beautiful tone and easy to play. You won't be able to get a better instrument for... $2350...David

Miyazawa 95SE handmade flute (today's model is called the 201). Excellent condition. #5 Silver Headjoint. Nickle silver body and foot. Closed hole, Split E, Cfoot, Ycup arms, Offset G. The tendon joints are diamond cut shape. A=442. Nice French case where the wood cleaning rod fits inside and a ribbon holder fitted in the case to hold a swab cloth. Also comes with a fitted black Jean Cavallaro case cover with an outside zippered pocket and a shoulder strap. Everything about this flute is truly beautiful and you would be hard pressed to find even a scratch... $1500... David

I'm looking for a good quality plastic piccolo with a wooden or plastic headjoint for all sorts of band purposes. I don't want silver plated body and head joint, i need a mellow sound.I can not have a wooden body because one of my major uses for the piccolo would be marching band. I have a budget of $350. I'm most interested in Gemeinhardt (i've fallen in love with the brand's flutes) but Yamaha or anything OTHER then Bundy and Armstrong would work!
