This is a Wm. S. Haynes solid silver C Piccolo, SN 33736 in excellent condition.This instrument is from the 60's, which many feel was the very best of the best.The piccolo has a very clear, centered, brilliant tone that only Haynes piccolos can produce. This instrument was constantly maintained over the years. The pads are in virtually new condition and the instrument plays with great ease and flexibility, just as you would have a Haynes play. Yamaha Piccolo YPC-81....professional grenadilla wood piccolo. This is the finest piccolo Yamaha makes. Completely handmade. I bought it at a music store closing and have played it in my home for a total of 2 hours. It comes in it's original new case and still smells new. A fabulous piccolo, bright and sparkling, and at the same time, rich and centered.I played high C with the same ease as the middle register of the instrument and with the same dynamic range. This is a Buffet Crampon, french model (open hole) flute. In-line G, B-foot, gold lip-plate. Solid silver head joint, body and foot joints, silver-plated keys. This is the best flute Buffet makes. It is a remarkably fine playing instrument. Very even and easy playing from low B to high C. Uniformity of tone throughout the registers. Comes in french style case. This very fine Trevor James Handmade "Virtuoso" solid silver flute is a masterful instrument. Actually it plays better than many of the Haynes flutes I own. It has in-line G, B-foot in a french style case with cover included. A magnificent instrument with a broad spectrum of colors and a very centered and exciting tone, similar to a Powell. This very fine handmade Wm. S. Haynes open hole french model flute was made in 1973. In-line G, B-foot, french case. An absolutely superb "top of the line" Haynes. I've played this flute for a while and find it to have an exciting, sparkling tone, yet full bodied and very even throughout all registers. This is one of those rare Haynes flutes that feels as good as it plays. Don't miss this one.
