Yamaha alto flute (YFL-A421) with both curved and straight heads. Patented gold/brass alloy body and headjoints with silver keys and lip plate make for a great, mellow tone. Registration is excellent through all three octaves, but takes more breath than a c flute and the tone cannot be forced. Purchased new one year ago-only played 6 times so still in mint condition. Upgraded pads and full tune up done just after purchase. Includes hard case and nylon carry shell. Wonderful instrument, but I just can't devote the time that it deserves. $4200, will condiser any reasonable offer. Contact for shipping/payment arrangements.

This flute was bought three years ago for use in marching band at high school. It was only used for one season and is in excellent condition. The flute is an Armstrong Model #104 with closed holes and an off-set G. Asking price is $200.

Rittershausen, wooden, open G#. Very good condition. Two very small cracks, professionally repaired. Very famous flute-maker, apprenticed with Boehm. Current flute-makers refer with pride to their founders training under Rittershausen, such as Mollenhauer, Hammig, and Gemeinhardt. Rittershausen flutes are on display in museums, such as the German National Museum and the National Music museum. Rittershausen flutes are for sale at $5,000 (silver, Nickrailmusic) and $2,000 (very similar wood model, mouthpieceheaven). I have for sale a Hawkes and sons Wooden boehm flute currently not in playable condition. Needs an overhaul and a good polish. There are no cracks in the wood, but there is some plating wear to the keys. Headjoint is bakelite. In original case, which is ugly but functional. Made in 1920, stamped "Hawkes & sons, Piccadilly Circus, London, 22A" Asking 600CDN (450USD) Or other reasonable offers. No third party transactions.
