SOLD! Gemeinhardt Piccolo for Marching and Concert <jgbowers@esper.com> - Knoxville, TN USA - Tuesday, August 12, 2003
Gemeinhardt Piccolo, equivalent to 4PMH with silver-plated headjoint and keys and black composite plastic body. Older instrument but owned and babied by serious flutist. Overhauled 2 years ago and played infrequently since. Has a sweeter tone than all-metal piccolos. Will not crack if marched with like wood piccolos, but has nice intonation for concert/orchestral use. Conical bore, no worn plating. Hard case and outer black leatherette case cover are like new. No tarnish, excellently cared for. Playing piccolo helps develop embouchure for better flute playing, too! $350 OBO with free insur. and shipping. USA inquiries and buyers only, please.

Muramatsu Flute Wanted <musikfan@juno.com> - Lititz, PA USA - Monday, August 11, 2003
HELP! I am trying to relocate my old muramatsu flute which I sold back around 1992 or 1993. It is a muramatsu DN model #80975 (made sometime in the early 80's). It is a heavy wall, open hole with B foot, D#roller, with gizmo. The case cover is a very ugly brownish color made of a type of leather material. I sold this flute on consignment through Irving Monroe of the Detroit Symphony. I believe a young lady bought it. If anyone has any leads on this instrument, please contact me as I am very interested in buying it back. E-mail Craig at musikfan@juno.com. Thanks so much for any help in this!

I'm trying to find a nice flute for a friend, but I'm a little short of funds. Preferably under four hundered. I know that's really vague but I'm working on research right now and haven't quite decided if it really needs to be one brand in partictular. It would be for high school band use, and that includes marching band. HELP!
