I am majoring in flute performance at the Eastman School of Music next fall, and I am in need of a great sounding, not too expensive wooden picc. Preferably Haynes, Burkart-Phelan, Powell, Zentner, Roy Seaman, Emerson Boston Legacy. No Yamaha piccs, please. I am willing to spend up to $2500.

I am a professional flutist looking to upgrade my current flute. I really want a gold plated flute, with silver keys. It must be open hole and have a b-foot, it can be inline or offset, I have no preference. I am willing to scrifice features for a lower price. I really have my heart set on either a Gemeinhardt 40th Anniversay or an Armstrong Artesia, which is the 30b or 35bt, I think. Any brand will do as long as its not in bad condition. If you have anything it would be nice to see pictures of it before I buy it. Thanks~

It has absolutely no scratches or dings. The pads are in like-new condition and the flute has been cleaned, oiled and adjusted regularly. Used by an adult and was purchased new in January 2002. Yamaha 661H (now called 784H) All silver. B-foot, gizmo. Offset G. CY Headjoint. Some small dings and minute stratches. Now selling for over $5,200.00 at Fluteworld. Asking only $2,500.00. This flute has been around the world and has never given me any trouble. It has appeared at Carnegie Hall no less than twenty times (ok, not by itself.) and recently played in San Francisco's Davies Symphony Hall, UCLA, Kravis Perf. Arts Center in West Palm, San Juan, P.R. and Tunisia to name a few places. So if you here that Yamahas don't get around.it is not true! :-) I will include a snazzy cranberry colored Cavallero zippered case cover.
