For sale: Artley 5-0-B flute w/ double case and accessories. The body is silver plated with B foot, in-line G, open hole, 2 headjoints (the original standard cut, and an Armstrong). Both headjoints are sterling silver: the Armstrong is the "Progressive" (or 4) cut. I purchased this flute used about 6 or 7 years ago; until now, it has been my only flute. Therefore, it has been extremely well cared for. I polish it and clean the inside after each time it's played. The only thing it may need is a good adjustment. Otherwise it's in wonderful shape. All Silver, Thickness (0.018), In-line G, B-Foot, C# trill, D# roller It is a superb instrument and in very good condition. The headjoint on this flute gives it a sweet, warm, and dark sound. It has a bit of resistance on it. Both registers are great especially the low register. Powell recently gave the flute a tune up (new pads, cleaning, and lubing). Gemeinhardt flute= My flute has been used for only 9 mos. of band class. It is like new. It has optional finger pads and a cleaning kit to go with it. I would like somewhere around $900 for it, but if nessisary I will gladly compromise to YOUR DESIRED PRICE!! Keep in mind this was the absolute top of the line with the best sound projection from the place it was purchased. This is not only great for a beginner but a skilled player also. I'm selling a Gemeinhardt beginner's model 22SP, offset G, silver plated, good playing condition. I'm looking to upgrade to an advanced flute as I am in the middle of my freshman year in highschool and plan to pursue my playing. The flute we are selling doesn't LOOK like new, it has dings and scratches. It is almos seven years old yet plays good, as I have held first chair with it for three years and won medals in competitions.
