Looking for Gemeinhardt flute in great shape. MUST be open-hole. Preferably: solid silver (willing to consider silver-plated with silver headjoint) B foot (will consider C foot) Inline or offset G no concern. No signficant dents, minimal visible wear/tarnish. This flute is a wonderful flute with a rich sound of the gold plus the projection of silver. It comes with a cherry case and cleaning rod. Is in perfect condition. Altus flute, pure brittania silver provides lighter tone than sterling. Handmade retails for over $9900 today. This was last one to be handmade by Mr. Yamaguchi (sp? Owner/starter of Altus). The flute is impecable, owned by Detroit Symphony Orchestra player, and prof. of Music at Univ. of Michigan. Lipplate has been engraved and D# roller added by Altus. IMPORTANT: Has two dents that *must* be repaired; woodwind shop estimate $150. Therefore I'm willing to sell for $125 negotiable, plus $10 shipping, US only. This flute is openholed, silver-plated, inline G, C foot, rolled tone holes. Pads, corks, springs in good playing condition, keys very responsive. Will have a beautiful tone again, once repaired. Perfect for beginners and intermediate students alike! Comes with original velvet-lined hardshell Gemeinhardt case in great condition. A student flute by Earlham, a popular brand in Europe. Bought this as a refurbished flute about 3 years ago but have hardly used it. Clean with signs finish wear typical of normal use. Keypads were changed and headjoint cork was recently replaced after the entire instrument was examined by a professional flute repair technician. The flute has a nickel-silver headjoint, body and footjoint with plateau (closed hole) keys and a C-foot footjoint. The flute comes with a hard plastic case and a rod for cleaning and tuning too. Plateau keys facilitate a beginner to learn and produce sound easier. Bought for over $200. Only asking for $80
