My son is in the high school marching / symphonic band, and the director has asked him to get a piccolo. Also, he has been taking private lessons for two years, and his instructor has also suggested he get a piccolo. He is a sophmore and is first chair, and is thinking about playing in college. Does anyone have a used piccolo that would be suitable. I can get a new Yamaha 32YPC for about 550. I'm thinking to get a used piccolo for around 100. His flute is a Pearl 501RBE.
