Model is known for its durability in the hands of young players, Retails for over $300. Nickel-plated headjoint, body, and keys. SOLD! Authentic Haynes-Schwelm Flute <liz@winds101.com> - Northville, MI USA - Friday, August 13, 2004

Overall good condition, easy blowing, fun to play. Original case, headjoint, body and foot. A GREAT collector flute, and part of the Haynes legacy. Brothers George & William S. Haynes, sons of a New England Ship Captain, became flute makers. William S. formed the William S. Haynes Company of Boston. George made a few "George Haynes" flutes and formed the Haynes-Schwelm Flute Company of Boston with Mr. Schwelm. Trademark legal battles over "Haynes" began. WilliamS. Haynes Co. won the court battle forcing Haynes-Schwelm out of business in 1954. I am selling off my flute collection, Priced Low $250 plus $25 S/H UPS 3 Day Select.
