Beautiful rosewood flute by Mollenhauer. Made in Germany. Boehm system, with plateau keys, closed G# key and c-foot. Keywork is German silver. In excellent condition. There is an old crack in the headjoint. The headjoint is fully lined with a Silver tube and the crack doesn't affect the sound. The wood is in amazing condition for its age. Has a very warm tone. Gorgeous! Looks & plays as new. Recently adjusted/tuned/pads/corks/perfected. A Conservatory 2S w/closed holes, C foot, off-set G (Serial #412289). NOT a student flute. For flutists that prefer closed hole/C foot - as did Mr. Rampal (he sounded pretty good). "Solid Silver" stamped on each piece. Sound is rich full and sweet with colorful undertones.
