For sale this wonderfull french vintage flute, made (or sold) by Kandowski, early XXth century. The flute is silver plated, open holes in line, with C-foot. Pointed key arms. In its original case, in wonderfull condition. The flute is stamped: " KANDOWSKI 74 rue de Clichy PARIS ". Springs are all present, and the silver plated in is PERFECT condition: no wear at all. The head is not shortened. Total length: 682mm, sounding length: 603mm. This instrument is a profesionnal one made by a skilled maker, in the pure tradition of Bonneville, Lebret, Rive,. This mark is very rare. Lot of pictures on request. Price: 430 Euros.

Solid silver Louis Lot flute serial number 9xxx, from the same period as Fernand Dufrêne's flute. It is in exceptional condition as it has had only one owner and had been stored away for decades. No scratches, dings or dents of any kind, or any previous repairs. Has been professionally cleaned, serviced with new springs, corks and repadded but otherwise not altered or retuned, it doesn't need anything doing. Plays well in pitch unlike earlier untuned Lots and has a wonderful sound. The original case also in exceptional condition. I don't believe you will find a better looking Lot. I have a Cocus wood headjoint, made by Howel Roberts, that I would like to sell. It is thick wall cocus, modern cut, with great sound--flexible, sweet, dark and powerful. My flute came with two heads, and I know that I will really only use one of them, so the other is up for grabs. They appear to go for about $1200 new, but as far as I know the thick wall/modern cut are not available if you order them from the usual dealers. I would like to sell it for $850, so that's a $350 discount/30% off.
