Near-new Grenadilla (wood) piccolo I bought two years ago while playing in a (musical) pit orchestra. List price: near $2000.00; I have seen it sold elsewhere for over $1600.00. Piccolo has an excellent scale, and plays low D with ease. When I purchased it, I was looking for a "step-up" piccolo, and compared it to several Burkart-Phelan piccolos (almost twice the list price of this piccolo) and a Yamaha Grenadilla piccolo. I found this piccolo to blend better with other woodwinds (warm/dark sound, less 'bright'/shrill), and easy to play in tune. U.S. Buyers only - NO SPAM.
