Fine 19th century beautifully made flute in its original case.The keys look to be nickel.The flute is unrestored.The head-joint has two cracks-one slightly open and approximately 9cm long the other a fine crack approximately 2.5cm Part of the cap is missing.Two of the rods have been paired -one is a short rod which has had a piece added to it,the other a longer rod has had a solder repair near one end.The flute will need new pads.All the keys are intact.The overall condition of the flute is very good.The case is in good condition.The flute fits perfectly in its original case EMail For PRICE rosini33@juno.com

I bought this flute 4 years ago, and the previous owner bought it 4 years before then. So it was made 8-9 years ago, when Gemeinhardt was still at top form. It was taken care of very well, but more importantly was JUST OVERHAULED, so it is 100% clean and has all new pads. This is a PERFECT step-up flute for a middle or high schooler. I used it personally in high school for 4 years, and then bought a Powell. I still love this flute but need money for college. I will be happy to email anyone interested some pictures. The list for this flute was $1800, but I am willing to part with it for $700 or best offer. Thanks for looking.
