DeFord nickel silver student flute, closed hole, c foot, offset g (great for smaller hands). This was my starting flute, and my daughters have now chosen other instruments. It is in very good condition, with minor use scratches, and one tiny dent. All pads are in great shape except the thumb key, which has a tiny hole (which doesn't affect the playability, and isn't an immediate problem). Asking $90, including shipping via UPS. A six-month old Powell Sonare flute, all sterling silver, B foot, offset G, open hole, .014 tubing. The body is made in Taiwan to Powell specs and the headjoint is a Signature, handmade by Powell in Boston. The pitch is A=442 and the scale is wonderful, with the high notes much better in tune than in the Haynes Deveau scale. I also find that this particular flute has amazing response and fluidity. The mechanism is excellent. List price is in the neighborhood of $1600-1800 with its original Signature headjoint. $1200.

This is a very rare open holed flute made by the japanese elise company. It is almoost identical to the comparative Yamaha. It has a solid silver head body and foot but plated keys. It has an offset G to help smaller hands.The quality of the plating is so good that I am not sure that they are not sterling. It has a beautiful Limpid sound right through the compass and even up to F4. It is as new with no dings etc. The corresponding Yamaha is now over £1000 GBP so this is a bargain at £475.
