Composition (plastic) head and body. Dark sound with great flexibility. Conical bore body, silver plated keys, hardshell case and cleaning rod. It just came from the shop. I just had all brand new pads installed on it, all keys polished and entire piccolo cleaned. It is in spectacular condition! This would be a great piccolo for marching, concert band or orchestra. In my opinion,it blends much better than a metal or silver piccolo and is more durable to weather. Make me an offer. I need to sell this one asap, so no resonable offer will be declined. Vintage Gemeinhardt plastic piccolo with sterling silver (not plated) headjoint serial #5128 made in 1964. Model , plastic body, sterling silver hj, old style trill keys, like a flute, one tone hole style thumb key design, french arm on D# key. Piccolo in excellent condition. Plating on keys are very good. Piccolo plays well, pads not new, but are in perfect condition. Asking $300. Pictures upon request.
