Beautiful copy of G.A. Grenser (ca. 1760) ebony flute for sale. Excellent condition, no cracks, dents, etc. Some tenon strings need to be rewound. Purchased new in 1991. Beautiful, clear sound, especially upper register with excellent intonation. Includes screw cap, foot regiser, and 3 corps de rechange (upper middle joints) A=415, 430, and 440. Boxwood & ivory flute very rare. Astor made flutes between 1790 & 1810. I bought this flute to restore and just haven't had the time to do so. Asking $700 for it. Body in excellent shape all keys present & working (looks to be silver key work) fully lined silver (nickel silver?) head. Cracks in head 2 cracks in barrel 2 with one tiny tiny one. Every piece hallmarked with the Unicorn head and Astors name and address in London. Will email photos to you.
