Handmade, soldered tone holes, solid silver Yamaha professional flute. The flute has a George Koregelos headjoint which adds more body and depth than the original CY headjoint. This flute was played proessional for five years but has seen little use over the last ten years. It is clean but in need of a repad although it plays well as it is. Mechanically sound, no dents. On neck of flute: "Yamaha YFL321 Nippon Gakki Co. Ltd. Japan". Number at the bottom: 010730. - Closed hole flute. Good condition. Some small scratches and worn areas from use. Missing wand/stick to clean inside. Yamaha hard case has some scratches on it but no dents or gouges. Clasps are very good and strong. I don't play the flute so I can't give much more info. I hope you can determine quality and value by this info and by the pictures. From research I have done I believe this is a vintage flute made before the company changed it's name. This is the latest and best Alto flute I've played in a very long time. Using Powell's scale and design for this Alto flute makes it a very easy and strong player. Headjoint is solid silver and made by Powell. This is the model AF60, and comes with a straight headjoint, roller keys on footjoint and a unique roller on the B thumb key for easy movement between B and Bb. It has been barely used and played only a couple hours. Comes with leather case, case cover, cloth and cleaning rod. Perfect condition and no damage. $1500 plus insured shipping.
