Rittershausen professional Grenadilla wood Flute. No damage and no cracks. Has had a complete overhaul with all new pro pads, corks. Flute has solid silver keys with Pointed-arms. B-foot joint. Comes with original case in great condition. This flute is over a 100 years old and is perfect. Headjoint is lined, no cracks. The label inside the case says this is from the 1893 Worlds Fair, Columbian Exposition. I also have the matching piccolos, if interested. Special edition flute made in 1998 for the 50th Anniversary of the Gemeinhardt Company. Comes with a Solid Silver Thin Wall K headjoint which has a solid 14k rosegold lipplate and riser as well as engraving. The body is sterling silver with silver plated keys with pointed pad cups. Few scratches taken care of and pads are all in good shape. Comes in a french style leather case. $1200 I would like to sell this instrument as soon as possible

This is an excellent instrument for orchestra or ensemble use. Conical body for great intonation; wood head joint and body for a mellow sound. New in 1997 you can hardly tell the difference today. I was the only owner and it received gentle use. Don’t pass over a quality instrument because you are unfamiliar with the brand- made by John Hardy and his family business in Elkhart Indiana. $800 I will cover the escrow fees if escrow.com is used.
