All Sterling Silver (tube, mechanism and fittings). Open-hole keys, pointed key cup arms, soldered tone-holes, in-line G, B Foot. Traditional scale, pitched at A440 and completed by Verne Q. Powell Flutes on 6/19/1959. All original with no alterations, headjoint re-cutting or other "butchering" in the name of re-tuning. Pristine condition with no damage to the tube, mechanism or fittings. The original French style leather covered case is included and is also in beautiful vintage condition. Occasionally I go to Flute Fairs (at my own expense) and teach a beginning class on flute repair (for free). I try to bring some flutes for the students to disassemble and work on. If anyone has a flute that is not worth repairing, I am willing to pay shipping or a small fee for it. No nickel plated flutes, or "smelly" flutes, or excessively pitted flutes (they're kind of unsanitary). Thanks.

Used 1011RBS. I used this flute for 2 years. Its a great sounding instrument. It's very resonant and plays much more easliy than Yamaha flutes i've tried in the same category. There is minor wear to the instrument as would be expected for a 2 year old instrument. There is a slight almost imperceptable ding in the underside of the headjoint but I have not found that this effects its playability.Key of C.
