Burkart closed hole offset G, soldered tone hole flute. Handmade with B foot. The 14k gold riser creates a beautiful deep rich tone in all registers. I really love the closed holes. It lets me concentrate on playing music, rather than keeping the open holes covered. This flute cost over $9,000 new. It was just overhauled and appraised for $7,500 by Anne Pollack in New York. Silver piccolo with plastic body. It is in great shape b/c I just had it repaired. There are only a few minor scrateches on the headjoint that do not affect it at all. For this to be a intermediate model piccolo it plays very well. I have played this in the orchestra that I am in and have recorded with it and it was great.
