On neck of flute: "Yamaha YFL321 Nippon Gakki Co. Ltd. Japan". Number at the bottom: 010730. - Closed hole flute. Good condition. Some small scratches and worn areas from use. Missing wand/stick to clean inside. Yamaha hard case has some scratches on it but no dents or gouges. Clasps are very good and strong. I don't play the flute so I can't give much more info. I hope you can determine quality and value by this info and by the pictures. From research I have done I believe this is a vintage flute made before the company changed it's name. This is the latest and best Alto flute I've played in a very long time. Using Powell's scale and design for this Alto flute makes it a very easy and strong player. Headjoint is solid silver and made by Powell. This is the model AF60, and comes with a straight headjoint, roller keys on footjoint and a unique roller on the B thumb key for easy movement between B and Bb. It has been barely used and played only a couple hours. Comes with leather case, case cover, cloth and cleaning rod. Perfect condition and no damage. $1500 plus insured shipping.
