A soprano recorder in Moeck's Rottenburgh line, patterned after baroque originals. The 229 is a elegantly turned three-piece recorder, which means you can adjust the footjoint to your hand. This recorder has a sweet tone, especially up top, and the intonation is solid (A=440). The condition of the wood is excellent, almost brand new, with no scratches or rub-spots around the holes. I am selling my used Yamaha 221! I do have pictures, I have yet to upload them. I am asking about $250 o.b.o. Willing to accept a little bit less, reasonably. This flute was in use by me, and me only for seven years. It has two very small dings and no scratches. I need to sell this to repair my new flute (we bought it as a fixer upper) and to help pay for my college expenses. Anyway, the flute is offset g, c foot, double bladder pads, and many other features. It has helped me with my playing all seven years, and in my opinion and several others' opinions, is the best choice for a beginning flutist.

Freshly repadded C piccolo made in Japan by the Yamaha Musical Instrument Corp. for Vito-Leblanc. Stamped "Vito", this is identical to Yamaha's YPC-32--plastic body and silverplated head and mechanism. The only difference is that the hinge tube on the G# key on the Yamaha has a plastic extension--the Vito has an all-metal hinge tubing. Box-type case. $400 plus shipping.
