14k gold Miyazawa flute headjoint with platinum riser. MZ-6 cut (known for its’ fabulous response, flexibility & color). The platinum riser is terrific, and offers amazing response to articulation and a very dark, powerful sound. This headjoint was purchased new at the 2004 NFA convention and used for a year. It is in mint condition. The end of the tenon has been silver-plated to fit on a .015 silver flute. This will work if you’ll be using it on a silver instrument, but can be easily removed by a tech if you want to use it on a gold instrument. Sells new for $4,575. Asking $3,950/offer. Entirely sterling silver, with drawn toneholes, open holes, offset G keys, high E facilitator (“donut”) and B-footjoint with gizmo key. Unique & beautiful Modern style pointed keys. Fabulous MZ-6 headjoint with platinum riser. This flute was just completely overhauled by Anne Pollack (www.yourfluteworks.com), plays like a dream and looks like new. Make me an offer. Used Artley Open Hole Flute 15-0, silverplate. Most pads recently replaced, all in good condition. Silverplate has been rubbed off on several keys, etc from use. Plays nice, may need tune-up. Some scratching, tiny dings- general use stuff. Great for a high school student, or upcoming intermediate flutist, or as a back-up instrument when traveling. W/case. Haynes (Mid-1960s vintage, winged embouchure), that was appraised at $7000 that is for sale at $5000 o.b.o. A sterling silver hand-made French model, low-B Boehm system flute, with a rare cusped lip plate by William S. Haynes (serial# 348xx) is in excellent condition. The headjoint is very rare on Haynes flutes these days. It gives the flute added projection and focus. This vintage thin-wall 1966 Haynes was recently overhauled at the Haynes factory and plays perfectly. It has a like-new Haynes leather case.
