For sale- Arista sterling silver headjoint- L2 cut. Rich tone color, powerful, nice flexibility and response, consistent. The condition is very good. Lightly buffed and tarni-shield treated. Does have some surface nicks in it due to normal wear(not worth buffing out), but has no dents or major scratches. The tenon measures approximately .775". Can be sized up or down a little by a flute tech. It fit nicely in both an Altus 1607 seamed tube flute and a Brannen Brogger .014 silver flute. $750 FIRM + shipping. 5-day trial available. This flute was made about five years ago, entirely left handed except the foot joint which is right-handed (the E-flat key is still easily playable). I haven't cared for it as well as I ought, so it's lost some of its polish and has minor nicks and scratches. Still, it's typical of Sam's fine work and is as easy to fill, as powerful and responsive as when I first bought it - a joy to play. It's just been completely repadded and repaired at Ken Fornetran Woodwinds in Toronto. There were several small cracks in the lower joints and a larger one in the tuning barrel - the unlined head-joint is pristine. Closest offer to $2500 Cdn.
