Haynes flute This beautiful 1999 Haynes flute (serial# 506xx) is handmade and hand picked (from Haynes factory in Boston) with an offset G, 14 karat gold riser and low-B foot. It is in near-mint, perfect playing condition with absolutely no scratches or surface blemishes. It has a medium wall thickness, rendering it capable of the full range of flute timbres. It is a one-owner instrument that has been meticulously and consistently maintained by a professional flutist. Only $7500. A similar new Haynes costs almost $10,000.

Haynes (Mid-1960s vintage, winged embouchure), that was appraised at $7000 that is for sale at $5000 o.b.o. A sterling silver hand-made French model, low-B Boehm system flute, with a rare cusped lip plate by William S. Haynes (serial# 348xx) is in excellent condition. The headjoint is very rare on Haynes flutes these days. It gives the flute added projection and focus. This vintage thin-wall 1966 Haynes was recently overhauled at the Haynes factory and plays perfectly. It has a like-new Haynes leather case. Its tone is unusually strong and even throughout all registers. It is a solid and beautiful-sounding flute.

This is a fantastic flute that I've had for a few years now. I played it my senior year in high school but gave up playing after graduating. It's closed hole with a flashy gold lip. The case is lined in black velvet and comes with a badded carrying case. I really think any flute player would love to get their hands on this piece! $700 or best offer.
