Rare, Vintage (c 1890) Theodore Berteling, all wood & German silver, Boehm C Flute, fully restored to complete playability. Several of Berteling's flutes appear in the Dayton C. Miller collection in Washington DC. This example has many of his contributary patents to the refinement of the modern flute. About a year ago, my $15,000 flute was stolen from me before I could finish college. I was so heartbroken. Now I am looking for a replacement. I will never find another one like it because it was custom made. But I'm on the hunt looking for one to keep me happy. My 18 month old has never heard Mommy play and I want him to learn eventually. I'm looking for an Open hole Flute, Silver, B-foot with Gizmo, In-Line G, Trill key, With a Gold Lip and interior head with possibly gold keys. I know it's a hard find, But I'm willing to pay something towards it, unless someone is willing to donate. I can probably try a payment plan or something.
