A fully restored antique late 19th or early 20th century "tierce" stamped "CH[arles] ROTH Strasbourg" playing at high French concert pitch in dark palisander with 5 post-mounted German (nickel) silver keys and typical professional touches: half-lined head, lined tuning barrel, and capped and lined center tenon fitting. Said to have belonged to a flutist of the l'Opera du Rhin. A sweet-sounding little flute. The instrument was, and is, crack-free. Asking $800 (shipping included, USA only). I purchased this Sonare SP-500 piccolo about 6 months for personal use, and it has not been used. In those few months, it's probably been played a total of 10 times at most. Basically saying, this piccolo is in superb condition. Not a scratch on it, and all plating is fine. This piccolo features a composite headjoint and body, and silver plated keys. The headjoint has a conical bore, and is made by Powell in the US, while the body was ALSO made in the US, but has been sent to China for key assembly.
