It is made of grenadilla wood and has solid silver keys. This piccolo comes with an extra Grenadilla Burkart Phelan wave-style headjoint. Excellent Haynes handmade flute. All sterling silver, open hole, offset G, C-foot, Split E, Engraved lip plate. Thinwall, soldered tone holes. This flute was made in 1961 and the previous owner bought it in Paris in the 1990s. It has the same lip engraving (grid lines) that Rampal's gold flutes had.
