For sale: A superb playing Artley Ogilvie model bass flute with solid silver head joint. The flute is in excellent condition, pads are like new, and the flute was just adjusted. It has been used professionally only and was originally purchased by a player in the London Symphony Orchestra and later sold to a professional player and teacher in Sydney, who in turn sold it to me. This bass rivals the Kotato bass flute in sonority and will not disappoint. Price is US$ 3,800.00 (includes EMS air shipping with online tracking). Gemeinhardt C piccolo model <CS>. Sterling silver headjoint and body, silver plated keys and mechanism, phosphor bronze springs. Old style trill keys, like a flute. There are some scratches and plating wear, but nothing major. Needs to be repadded. Comes in Pro-tech case. I can't make out the first number of the serial number, but it looks like a 2 or 8. This Yamaha 385II is similar to the current 381 model selling for $1300+. Solid silver headjoint, silver plated body, B foot and gizmo key. This is a great "step up" flute for the intermediate player or doubler. It has not gotten a lot of play and has been recently cleaned,oiled,adjusted and polished. Looks and plays like new. Sacrificing at $595.
