The Gemeinhardt 3SH is a conservatory level flute (Gem levels are student, conservatory and professional). It has a solid silver headjoint, which produces an amazingly good tone. This flute has easy action and plays very well. Was just cleaned/oiled/adjusted. C foot, open holes, inline G. headjoint and tube are in excellent condition, no tarnish, minimal scratching from normal use - foot shows some tarnish that can be cleaned up with next repair. Body is marked M3 which Gemeinhardt says is what they used when building the 3SH in the past. This flute would serve an advanced highschool, college or conservatory student well.

This is the standard student flute used by most beginning flute players. It has good intonation, easy action and plays well, with a very good tone. The 2SP is silver-plated, Cfoot, plateau (closed) keys, offset G for easier hand position. An excellent starting instrument for a young student. 2 small dings in embrochure that will not affect playing at all, otherwise only scratching from normal use - the flute is in very good condition. The Kurt Gemeinhardt Special was made only for selected dealers. This flute plays very well from lo to hi, fast or mello. Great rich tone - one of the good ones. Open hole, B foot, Gizmo, Gold embrochure, white gold wires, headjoint, body & foot all marked solid silver. This is a lovely flute, no dings/dents but some normal minor scratching from use.
