Incredible tone, great shape! Sterling silver headjoint, plated body, beryllium copper springs. The instrument took me through college as a music major and has a better sound (more warmth/depth) than the wood Roy Seaman also made by Gemeinhardt. This makes it the perfect instrument for indoor symphonic playing as well as outdoor marching. I have played it in orchestral settings. Selling a used miyazawa headjoint purchased with a flute made in 2004. It is all silver with a 14k gold riser, MZ-5 cut. It is meant for a heavywall flute and is marked .45- if you do not have a heavywall flute the barrel of your instrument can be resized to fit the headjoint. It is a beautiful headjoint in excellent condition but I am playing on an all gold one now. They currently sell new for $1350. I am asking $1,050. Email me for a picture. Spammers, don't even bother.
