9K Gold Powell boston headjoint with Brannen gold lip plate and riser. This is a one of a kind headjoint - no others like it. The lip plate has the maker's initials (EW) etched in on the underside. The tube is .012. It has a silver sleeve on the tenon to make it fit an .016 tube (work done by Jim Phelan). This can easily be removed to make the headjoint fit any flute. This headjoint has a large, vibrant, colorful sound, and I hate to part with it. I am a master's student and need money, plus I am playing on a slightly more resistive headjoint now. I have a Zentner piccolo for sale. Serial number 4374, great condition, tiny scuff on one key. I played it through high school and college, and I bought it new in 1997. Half of the keys have been repadded, and everything seals well. Plays beautiful upper register with an easy time transitioning between octives. I must've tried 10 pics before choosing this one. Original case has a couple of scuffs, and I wrote my name on the inside, so there is some paint there. Missing the tuning rod. I am asking $1400.
