Used Emerson Alto Flute, silver plated throughout, curved headjoint. Comes with an additional Emerson straight headjoint which is solid silver. Also included is a hard case which holds both headjoints and a nylon case cover with fleece lining and an exterior pocket. The flute is in excellent playing condition. There are small minor dings, one on the footjoint, and also on the curved part of the curved headjoint. This alto is very comfortable to hold and plays well. I am selling to finance the purchase of a new instrument. A new instrument from Emerson would cost about $2,500. I am asking $1,700. Pictures available on request.

Selmer solid silver Open G# Flute. Reverse thumb key, b natural shake, low C# roller, C-foot. This is a 1920-30s era high end pro flute built by Selmer (US). It is all sterling silver including the keys and has gold springs. Pads are in good condition with no tears. It was just was disassembled, cleaned, hand polished and oiled. Some new corks were installed and the key height was adjusted. No dents. Original case in good condition. This is for the purist with the open G# and is NOT suited for most students. This is one of the nicest Open G# flutes I have seen. $950 shipped US only. Trades considered. Custom flutes made to order.
