This flute was one of the very last ones produced by Mateki's master craftsman Takeuchi and has the original headjoint made by S. Watanabe. It is a closed hole model with offset G and a C foot. See website above for pics. It is a model MO-001 which has a .925 sterling silver lip plate and nickel/silver head, body and foot with beautiful silver plating. This flute is in excellent condition with very little scratching that we typically see on flutes of this vintage. Only $1400 will ship worldwide. So I`m looking now for a wooden Piccolo, like p.e.: Yamaha YPC 62, or a Gemeinhard (Grenadilla) or any other Piccolo thats in good condition and has a nice tone. unfortunatley i cant spend much, as i am a poor student. This carbon-resin piccolo is no longer manufactured, as the material is unavailable. It has all the features and sound of a wood piccolo, but will not crack! Includes a split E, wave headjoint and sterling keys. Excellent Burkart scale! Third octave is very easy and low notes are clear. It has recently been adjusted and pads are perfect. I am a professional and am reluctant to sell it, but I have purchased a new instrument.
